The cracks that Tuesday and Wednesday showed in this hard winter have been blown open by what felt like a San Francisco Marine layer moving onshore today.
I had my RX1 with me and grabbed a few images on my way to work. I think the last thing my sister heard me say (a perk of the weekday commute is the chance to connect briefly with family) as we approached City Hall (where our paths part) was, "holy shit that's beautiful."
I could have sworn I was in the sunset with the flow of a San Francisco twilight washing inland from the heart of that blue Pacific. It was such a wonderful mix of past and present.
And if you are asking: no, I did not have a single problem with the rainy, storm weather today, I loved every second of it and a significant portion of my commute involves walking. So if you don't like it, you can take my positivism and shove it.
