On my own recognizance for the weekend and fully fed and caffeinated after a visit to the frozen lakefront with Matt and Maja, I decided there could be no better place to enjoy making a few memorable images and experience the gently falling snow than the gothic confines of The University of Chicago.
I was not disappointed. Campuses in good weather are not renowned for being bustling centers of activity on early Saturday mornings. Add in a handful of snow and you can understand why so many students would choose the comfort of their beds over the brisk February air.
I wandered for hours reconnecting with the great limestone walls and vaults and arches. I'll be bringing you many, many images I made in this short period of time very soon. Who says you can't go home? Stay tuned.
